A Series of Unfortunate Reviews: HFJ Ballard's Book Review Page

I love to read. These days, I rarely have the luxury of falling into a book so completely that I am driven to read through the night. I can no longer abruptly leave conversations or other social situations because I'm distracted by the promise of a book. My coat sleeves no longer serve as hiding places for multiple novels while I'm on the go. It isn't because books have become less captivating as I've aged; it's simply that the "responsibilities" of adulthood have become more pressing. That being the case, when I do finish a book, good, bad, or Steinbeck, I have something to say. So here I am, I'm saying it. I will post a review each time I finish a book.
